From October 8 to 10 2021, Hall 3 in the Oberhafen was transformed into an immersive space: video art, performance and music were combine to create a unique experience.
Together we traveled from the old freight yard to the distant lands of the Silk Road.
SILK :: ROAD experience is an immersive experience where music, art and performance come together.
SILK :: ROAD experience opens the gates to the world and takes you into the unknown.
SILK :: ROAD experience brings together music, performance and traditions from different corners of the world in a modern, contemporary context.
The empty hall becomes a stage. There are no spectators, there are participants.
Musically different styles could be heard: world music, traditional, jazz, electro. Great artists were our guests in Hamburg: Marcelo Gama, Vukašin Mišković & Klaus Lippitsch, Ashraf Sharif Khan & Viktor Marek, DJ Arepabahn, Philippe Ciminato, Richard Maegraith, Andrea Bazzicalupo, Sofian El Mabrouk and Davy Sur.
Marcelo Gama gave the performance on all three days with the premiere of "DIE NAHT" - performance in virtual space.
